Hydrocarbon Sector Skill Council (HSSC), is a sector skill council for oil & gas sector, has been set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG), and is a recognized Awarding Body with National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of HSSC is to execute skill development activities within the hydrocarbon sector in India. Over 175,000 trainees have been successfully skilled and upskilled in the hydrocarbon sector.

Trainer

More than 1100 trainers and 200 assessors have been certified in various HSSC job roles, including areas such as Green Hydrogen, 2G Ethanol, CBG, EV, CGD, and Fire Safety.

Qualification

Qualification Pack (QPs) for over 70 job roles have been developed by HSSC and are duly approved under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
